In addition, to participate in our community as a responsible citizen (from CRPO Ethics Code).<\/p>\n OAJA Training Program, Application Procedures, and Application Form:<\/strong><\/p>\n Ontario Association of Jungian Analysts – ANALYST TRAINING PROGRAM \u2013<\/strong><\/p>\n The ONTARIO ASSOCIATION OF JUNGIAN ANALYSTS <\/strong>(OAJA) is a non-profit\u00a0Corporation devoted to furthering an understanding of analytical psychology as\u00a0developed by C.G. Jung. In 1989. OAJA was admitted to group membership in the International Association for Analytical Psychology (IAAP). Group membership authorizes OAJA to train acceptable candidates to become Jungian analysts, who subsequently are accredited by the IAAP.<\/p>\n Applications will be accepted from September 1 to the deadline of November 15 for admission to the program beginning the following year in September.<\/strong><\/p>\n OVERALL STRUCTURE OF THE PROGRAM<\/strong><\/p>\n The program year consists of two semesters: from September to December, and from January to May (at least 8 months). Instruction will be provided in the form of lectures, seminars, and workshops, led by local and out-of-town Jungian analysts and other authorities in their field. These will be scheduled once per month over a long weekend (typically Friday evenings, all day Saturday and Sunday).<\/p>\n The length of the OAJA training program is a minimum of eight semesters, in two stages.<\/strong> Stage One <\/strong>(minimum four semesters) will offer instruction designed to prepare candidates for examinations prior to advancing to Stage Two. Stage Two <\/strong>(minimum four semesters) will provide for continuing instruction, client work, case supervision, and group supervision.\u00a0Note: Most candidates take longer than 4 years to complete.<\/p>\n Overall, the training program will be comprised of three major components<\/strong>:<\/p>\n APPLICATION PROCEDURE<\/strong><\/p>\n Since only well-qualified applicants can be considered for admission, a careful screening and selection process is necessary. This will put particular emphasis on life-experience and personal qualities.<\/p>\n PRE-REQUISITES FOR APPLICATION<\/strong>:<\/p>\n REQUIRED APPLICATION MATERIALS:<\/strong><\/p>\n REVIEW AND INTERVIEW PROCESS<\/strong><\/p>\n Subsequent to an initial screening, applicants deemed suitable for consideration as candidates will be contacted and directed to arrange interviews with a Selection Committee composed of three OAJA analysts. Usually, each applicant will be interviewed twice by each of the three analysts ($100 plus HST per interview, payable to the analyst). Unanimous approval by Selection Committee analysts is required for acceptance as a training candidate. The interview process will focus on the personal development and maturity of the individual, previous experience and\/or evidence of special aptitude in the realm of psychological relationships and the potential for becoming a Jungian analyst. Professional experience\/certification in a clinical\/psychotherapeutic field may be considered an asset; however, the demonstrated capacity and potential for depth psychological understanding, and the personal self-awareness and sensitivity necessary for psychological consciousness in an analytic encounter, will be of primary importance. Successful applicants will be notified by\u00a0<\/strong>April 1, after an overall review by all Selection Committees<\/strong>. Successful applicants then will receive the OAJA Registration Form and their copy of the Candidate Enrolment Contract, which is subject to the \u2018Ontario Career Colleges Act, 2005\u2019 and the regulations made under the Act.<\/p>\n TUITION<\/strong><\/p>\n OAJA uses a \u2018Standard Tuition Fee with Unlimited Attendance\u2019.<\/p>\n Domestic Students At this time, the cost of the \u2018Standard Tuition Fee with Unlimited Attendance\u2019 for domestic students (24-25 academic year) is $4,143 per semester (e-transfer, cheque or money order) or $4,268 (PayPal\/credit card), payable mid-July for Fall semester 2024 and mid-November for Winter semester 2025.<\/p>\n International students:<\/strong>\u00a0 The \u2018Standard Tuition Fee with Unlimited Attendance\u2019 is payable every semester a candidate is enrolled in the OAJA training program. Leaves of Absence are considered \u201cexceptional\u201d and bear a fee of $650\/670 per semester. Refunds will be in accord with PCC regulations. All fees are subject to change.<\/p>\n GRADUATION<\/strong><\/p>\n Upon successful completion of the program, a Diploma in Analytical Psychology will be awarded, certifying that the recipient is deemed capable of working as a Jungian analyst. After the graduate has submitted an application for membership to the Ontario Association of Jungian Analysts and it has been approved, membership in the International Association for Analytical Psychology is conferred.<\/p>\n CRPO<\/strong><\/p>\n The College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario came into force on April 1, 2015. OAJA accepts in principle that at least some of what the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario defines as \u2018the controlled act\u2019 and \u2018scope of practice\u2019 of psychotherapy transpires in Jungian analysis. Registration will be an individual matter with examinations from the College. OAJA graduates will be suitably prepared and can meet the College requirements for specific milestones such as supervision hours, learning hours, and core competencies. \nPre-payment of the full year\u2019s (2 semesters) tuition in advance is required for international students by the Ministry of Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) in order to facilitate applications for a student visa\/study permit.\u00a0 The annual \u2018Standard Tuition Fee with Unlimited Attendance\u2019 for international students is $8,406 Canadian dollars ($4,143 x 2 semesters + $120 administrative fee).\u00a0 This fee is payable mid to late-May for the Fall 2024\/Winter 2025 academic year, in order to allow adequate time to apply for a student visa\/work permit<\/a>.\u00a0 Please note: any international applicant who pre-pays tuition and who is refused a student visa\/study permit shall be refunded their full tuition pre-payment minus the $120 administration fee.<\/p>\n
